Redheugh Covid-19 Update: 11 May 2020

We hope everyone is keeping well.

I’m sure everyone is up to date with where we are now, in terms of government advice and the steps that will hopefully take us back to some kind of normality!

In relation to the club, and youth football in general, there are no real changes as of yet.  We know that the 19/20 season is officially over, and all leagues have made decisions as to the outcome of final league tables.  This includes relegation and promotion where applicable. The information has been shared with all clubs and is available to view on league websites.

We do not yet know when we can resume training but will share this information as soon as it becomes available.  It goes without saying that all decisions will be made in line with the most up to date government guidelines.

Unfortunately the situation we are in means that it will not be possible to hold our annual club presentation day.  Whilst this is a huge disappointment, the safety of our coaches, players and families is priority.

It may be the case that you wish to hold your own team presentation, adhering to guidelines.  This could be done as a virtual/online presentation or be held when it is safe to do so.  Could we ask that if you do decide to do this, that you inform Terry Ritson of your plans.

We look forward to seeing all coaches, players and families at the club soon!

Regards,
Executive Committee
